:: THIRD BOOTIK ALBUM 1OO% ROCK OPERA

MINI ROCK OPERA TURNS INTO MONSTER ACT
A recent Bootik meeting yielded a surprising result in a twist of fate worthy of all angels found on a headpin... Zilch according to our suvey & expertise.

Being perfectly in tune with the result of their endeavor of producing their most demanding & challenging piece of music yet with
‘The Hyperium Suite’; the Bootik boys have now decided, in an act of total inconscient bravado to write a complete no hold barriers rock opera about god & his minions.

’The Hyperium Suite’ will indeed get almost all of Bootik’s attention during the coming months & be elevated to the status of full fledge rock opera with a bad attitude to boot as they boldly jump straight ahead in what, they have no way to know but are willing to admit will be their most grandiose & achieved piece of work to date.

The rationalization of the project goes like this… After completing their 6 months trek of composing, arranging & performing the original ‘Hyperium Suite’, the Bootik lads realized they had only scratched the surface with their 16 minutes opus for the subject revealed itself so rich in possibilities, turns & twists and just begging to be stretched some more...

So following that peculiar line of thoughts; they decided to write a song for each of their 4 principal characters… The Young Man, The Old Man , The WhiteNight & Diablo.

Two songs were written & executed (a haunting rock piece with a Pink Floyd aura titled ‘Compassion’ for The Young Man & a gothic/medieval sort of a ballad for The White Night & frankly they do kick some serious ass indeed.

Then the funky number ''Father Georges'' came up around Diablo taunting some high priest about his god awful performance while all he seems interested in saving his own sorry ass.

So hey,
‘praise da lord’ indeed & prepare yourself to be musically & emotionally wined & dined, used, abused & oh sooo a bitsy confused or just plain being taken advantage of, in the most respectful way we can muster without loosing our self respect in the ability to rock da shit out of you one & all !

The history arc will involve a sacred city, an impossible love, a once matriarchal society facing the rise of obscurantism & a few laughs !

Boys are hard at work as we speak...

OR so they say...
